This role involves representing EY with government authorities, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with Egyptian labor and immigration regulations.</p> <p>You will work closely with multiple ministries and regulatory bodies while supporting onboarding, visa processes, and broader employee compliance requirements across the business.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your key responsibilities</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Manage documentation and submissions for visas, work permits, visa stamping, and attestation of certificates</li> <li>Handle immigration and government relations cases, providing regular updates and recommending solutions to resolve issues</li> <li>Liaise with relevant Egyptian authorities (e.g., Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Interior, National Organization for Social Insurance, Financial Regulatory Authority, Central Bank, and other regulatory bodies)</li> <li>Stay updated on changes in government regulations and communicate updates to the team</li> <li>Support inbound and outbound visa processes, including submissions to embassies and consulates</li> <li>Ensure compliance with immigration and labor regulations in coordination with business stakeholders</li> <li>Collaborate with recruitment and pre-joining teams to support smooth onboarding of new hires</li> <li>Coordinate with finance to ensure payroll compliance with social insurance regulations</li> <li>Escalate high-risk or complex cases to the Cluster Lead with clear recommendations</li> <li>Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities to support efficient processing</li> <li>Support renewal and registration processes (e.g., Auditor registrations, trade licenses, professional syndicates)</li> <li>Handle employee registrations with relevant professional and regulatory bodies</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills and attributes for success</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor law and immigration procedures</li> <li>High level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive employee data</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Ability to manage complex cases and provide practical solutions</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities</li> <li>Strong relationship-building and networking capabilities with government entities</li> <li>Proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Ideally, you’ll also</strong></p> <p> </p> <ul type="disc"> <li>Have experience working in a multinational or professional services environment</li> <li>Possess strong understanding of payroll processes linked to social insurance regulations</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we look for</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for a reliable and experienced immigration professional who can effectively manage government relations, ensure compliance, and provide practical, solutions-driven support to the business while maintaining strong external relationships.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer you</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
