EY GDS Business Consulting – Finance – Senior As part of our Business Consulting team, we are currently seeking highly motivated professionals, to help EY clients across sectors on their Finance Transformation projects. As part of our Business Consulting Finance team, you will help clients on their finance transformation and optimization projects, evaluate current processes/functions and develop their future roadmap, re-design their finance processes/structure/functions. Working with regional and global team, you will help clients reinvent or re-design their finance functions, models for increased efficiency and cost optimization. The client base spans across industries and includes blue chip corporates, banking and capital markets, multinational investors and Private Equity firms. The opportunity We’re looking for a Senior Consultant with expertise in the Finance domain to join our Business Consulting Finance team. The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant capable of managing large transformation projects and supporting clients with their financial strategy, business process re-engineering and performance management agendas. Your key responsibilities <ul> <li>Lead or contribute to large Business Transformation projects, focusing on creating authentic customer experiences and optimizing people, processes, and technology.</li> <li>Define finance vision and develop a comprehensive finance strategy transformation plan.</li> <li>Design the finance target operating model and lead business process reengineering efforts.</li> <li>Develop finance structure and roles to align with business objectives.</li> <li>Conduct cost optimization and business/ manpower planning activities.</li> <li>Drive agile finance and digital enablement to meet deadlines and prioritize assignments.</li> <li>Manage project delivery across the end-to-end lifecycle, from business case development to execution and close-out.</li> <li>Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to drive business outcomes, including facilitating interviews, workshops, and governance sessions.</li> <li>Work with a global team of experts to develop innovative solutions and benefit from operations-focused training.</li> <li>Design and implement processes, ensuring they are effective and support business readiness/training activities.</li> <li>Contribute to business development by creating proposals and participating in solution development.</li> <li>Leverage experience in industries such as Government & Public sector, Real Estate & Infrastructure, Energy, or Sports & Entertainment.</li> <li>Manage time effectively under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritize projects.</li> <li>Support strategic initiatives at the team level and collaborate across consulting competencies to achieve organizational goals.</li> </ul> Skills And Attributes for Success To qualify for the role, you must have: <ul> <li>A passion for people and the ability to bring out the best in our team members.</li> <li>Exceptional client relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering quality and value.</li> <li>Strategic thinking and complex problem-solving abilities.</li> <li>Exposure or experience in Digital solutions in Finance functions including automation and technology adoption.</li> <li>Strong communication skills, making complex systems and situations easy to understand.</li> <li>Project management skills to manage and deliver projects across our key clients.</li> <li>A rapid learning ability for new ideas and capabilities.</li> <li>Research skills and exposure to various research tools.</li> <li>The ability to benchmark client requirements against leading practices.</li> <li>Leadership skills to enhance relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities.</li> </ul> To qualify for the role, you must have. <ul> <li>CA/ ACCA/ CMA/ Master's degree in MBA Finance.</li> <li>3 -5 years of industry experience</li> </ul> Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills Experience in usage of analytical tools/ representations Report writing, Customer handling, Strong interpersonal communication skills. Willing to travel onsite on client assignments.
