As a Senior Consultant in our Mergers & Acquisitions Lead Advisory team based in our Melbourne office, you’ll join a high performing team that provides strategic and tactical advice to privately owned, publicly listed, and private equity clients through all stages of the sale or purchase of a business or asset, or capital raising process. M&A Lead Advisory is part of EY’s Parthenon service line providing lead advisory services. This role is offered on a full-time basis. Your key responsibilities As a valued member of the team you will: <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Be involved in all stages of the transaction process from deal origination through to completion, including preparation of marketing materials, bidder research, valuation analysis, and due diligence preparation and coordination. </li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Prepare industry research and market mapping to assist in identifying potential new clients or targets for private equity and corporate buyers. </li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Assist in and learn to build and analyse financial models. </li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Contribute to engagement planning and ensure that deliverables meet the project timetable. </li> </ul> <ul type="disc"> <li style="font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:10.0pt">Build strong client relationships and engage with transaction stakeholders and advisers.</li> </ul> Skills and attributes for success Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes.
