The Opportunity We are looking for a skilled Finance Consultant to join our Global Delivery practice, working at the intersection of finance transformation and enterprise technology. In this role, you will partner with leading financial services clients across banking, insurance, and asset management to design and deliver complex finance and accounting platform implementations. From pre-implementation blueprinting through to post go-live BAU support, you will play a central role in shaping how our clients modernise their finance architecture — spanning cloud-based ERP, accounting hub, subledger, and financial planning & reporting platforms. Your Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Solution Design <ul> <li>Lead pre-implementation workstreams including BRD authoring, design principles, and reporting strategy across finance platform engagements</li> <li>Configure and implement accounting hub and subledger platforms — covering accounting event workflows, journal source mapping, and data lake connectivity</li> <li>Architect and validate end-to-end data pipelines connecting source systems to GL, subledger, and reporting layers</li> <li>Design and rationalise Chart of Accounts structures aligned to statutory, management, and consolidation reporting requirements</li> <li>Define and execute E2E testing strategies including SIT, UAT, data flow validation, regression testing, and test case documentation</li> <li>Lead subledger modernisation engagements migrating clients from legacy platforms to cloud-native accounting solutions</li> <li>Configure accounting workflow engines covering journal mapping rules, accounting event definitions, and rule sets</li> <li>Support BAU operations post go-live — period-end close, reconciliations, financial controls, and continuous improvement</li> <li>Deliver financial planning and consolidation platform implementations covering budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting</li> <li>Hands-on configuration or design experience across one or more cloud-based finance platforms, including: <ul> <li>Accounting & ERP: Workday Financials, SAP S/4HANA</li> <li>Financial Planning & Consolidation: Anaplan, OneStream</li> <li>Subledger & Adaptive Platforms: Workday Adaptive, or equivalent subledger solutions</li> </ul> </li> </ul> To qualify for the role, you must have <ul> <li>8-10 years of experience in finance technology consulting, ERP implementation, or finance transformation</li> <li>Hands-on configuration or design experience across one or more cloud-based finance platforms spanning ERP, accounting hub, subledger, or financial planning and reporting</li> <li>Demonstrated experience with data pipeline design, UAT frameworks, and test case management in finance platform contexts</li> <li>Strong functional knowledge of R2R processes — subledger accounting, journal entry, reconciliation, and financial close</li> <li>Exposure to financial services clients across banking, insurance, or asset management sectors</li> <li>Ability to produce high-quality client-facing deliverables including BRDs, design documents, and testing artefacts</li> <li>Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across both technical and finance audiences</li> </ul> What we offer you At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
