This involves managing the performance of staff, contractors, networks and equipment. Ensuring the safety of the staff and the public is also a key objective. The job requires the maintenance of good relationships with key stakeholders. The Area Manager must take a broad business view which addresses cross functional issues and optimises day to day management of the team’s performance. A key objective is to ensure that the function consistently achieves KPIs and standards in a challenging commercial environment.
