Working at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside children and their families during pivotal life phases. You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to inpatient and/or outpatient infants, children and adolescents, to support child development and maximise participation in daily activities and quality of life. Areas of inpatient service delivery may include: gastroenterology, cardiology, oncology, respiratory and general medicine. Outpatient Services may include specialist assessment clinics (autism and developmental) and/or specialist tertiary clinics for management of neurological/neurodevelopmental conditions. The role may also deliver specialist clinical care to children and families across the Hospital in the Home (HITH), Post-Acute Care (PAC) and/or Complex Care service programs.
