<p></p> <p> </p><div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Overview</b></H3> </div><div>The Asset Management Associate will support the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of MH and/or RV assets through detailed analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration and will work alongside the Vice President, Director, and Senior Vice President on initiatives to support departmental goals. Working both within and across various departments, including FP&A, Revenue Management, Operations, Marketing, and Utility Management, this role will assist in tracking asset performance, identifying trends, and supporting the team’s strategic decision-making to maximize asset performance. The Asset Management Associate will also contribute to the development of internal systems designed to memorialize and manage critical asset-level data.</div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Job Duties</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Assist in development and review of annual budgets and business plans. (Essential)</li> <li>Collaborate with Operations on occupancy trends and Revenue Management to monitor pricing strategies and revenue optimization. (Essential)</li> <li>Coordinate with Utility Management on expense performance, conservation initiatives, and supporting infrastructure investment (capital expense) analysis. (Essential)</li> <li>Support regular portfolio reviews, business updates, and cross-departmental reporting initiatives. (Essential)</li> <li>Assist in building internal systems to capture, store, and manage key asset-level information, including financial, operational, and capital data. (Essential)</li> <li>Consolidate and validate actuals, budgets, and forecasts for key performance indicators across assigned assets.</li> <li>Conduct monthly variance analysis, highlighting risks and opportunities to the broader Asset Management and Operations teams.</li> <li>Work closely with Marketing to track campaign performance and provide recommendations on local marketing strategies.</li> <li>Participate in ad hoc analyses and special projects as required by leadership.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H3 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><b>Requirements</b></H3> </div><div><ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related field (Required)</li> <li>2 years in experience in asset management, real estate finance, or FP&A (Required)</li> <li>Must have a valid driver's license</li> <li>Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills; familiarity with reporting systems (e.g., Adaptive Insights, Yardi, or similar)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills and attention to detail</li> <li>Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment</li> <li>Exposure to or interest in systems development and data organization tools (e.g., SharePoint, Airtable, CRM platforms)</li> </ul> </div></div></div><p><strong>BENEFITS</strong></p> <p>At Sun Communities, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
