Working hours will be scheduled on a shift basis in advance (full time) and you will receive a training plan that enables you to deal with your duties in an efficient way.</p> <p>You will not only be working on the cash, but you will also get involved in every part of the store’s operations, including stocking, cleaning, bakery operations, non-food merchandising, and everything needed to make sure our clients’ shopping experience is fast and comfortable.</p> <p><strong>The main duties will be:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Team cooperation for an excellent management of the store, assisting the Store Management with all areas of store operation;</li> <li>Provide excellent customer service, not only on the cash registers but throughout the store by helping customers with their questions and locating items for them;</li> <li>Ensure to offer the freshest of produce;</li> <li>Unpack daily stock deliveries;</li> <li>Help with stocking as well as preparing promotional items and special offers;</li> <li>Cash management;</li> <li>Ensure that the entire store is clean and organized, from the parking lot to the sales floor to the welfare room and warehouse.</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u>What you'll need</u></H2> </div><div><ul> <li>Must be at least 18 years old;</li> <li>The flexibility to work different shifts including night shifts, weekends and public holidays;</li> <li>Professional and respectful attitude with customers and colleagues;</li> <li>A friendly communication style with your team;</li> <li>The drive to work hard in a fast-paced environment;</li> <li>Fluent knowledge of the English language is a must;</li> <li>Knowledge of the Maltese language will be considered an asset; </li> <li>Previous experience in the retail sector will be considered an asset.</li> </ul> </div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px"><u>What you'll receive</u></H2> </div><div><p>There are so many reasons for you to join our Lidl Malta Team that it is impossible to list them all!
