The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating Yorkshire Water's internal heavy lifting fleet, external crane hire, scaffolding services and associated financial processes. Working closely with Scheduling, Operational and Delivery teams, the role ensures lifting, and access solutions are planned and delivered safely, efficiently and cost-effectively across the Yorkshire region. Supporting both planned and reactive activities, the role requires effective collaboration with internal stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to deliver operational requirements within agreed timescales. A key aspect of the role is driving efficiencies through effective resource planning, cost management and the optimisation of fleet utilisation, helping to reduce fuel consumption, carbon emissions and overall operational costs.
