<p>The Sizewell C Jobs Service supports local people into exciting, long-term careers across our Project.#SZCJobs</p><p> </p> <p> </p> <p style="text-align:center"><strong>Environmental Advisor (Sizewell C)</strong><br><strong>Morson </strong><br><strong>Sizewell C</strong></p> <p><br><strong>Job Responsibilities </strong></p> <p><br>• Undertake site inspections of contractor work areas, reporting environmental issues and providing clear observations.<br>• Provide written and verbal guidance on environmental legislation, permits, and relevant planning constraints.<br>• Review contractors' environmental management plans and risk assessments to ensure compliance with regulations and project standards.<br>• Support self-assessments and internal audits of site activities, ensuring alignment with legislation, project processes, and environmental best practice.<br>• Lead or support investigations into environmental incidents, preparing reports and recommending measures to prevent recurrence.<br>• Identify potential contractual issues and escalate appropriately to the Environmental & Sustainability Manager.</p> <p><br><strong>Qualifications </strong></p> <p><br>• Degree (or equivalent) in an environmental or related discipline.<br>• Experience working within an Environmental Management System (EMS) aligned to recognised standards (e.g., ISO 14001).</p> <p><br><strong>Experience </strong></p> <p><br>• Proven experience in an environmental management role on a dynamic construction or industrial site.<br>• In-depth knowledge of UK environmental legislation relevant to construction or industrial operations, plus associated guidance and industry best practice.<br>• Understanding of client-contractor relationships and responsibilities under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.<br>• Ability to work independently, demonstrating strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p><p> </p> <p>For this role you must have evidence of right to work in the UK.
