Job SummaryThe CIA is seeking highly skilled and adaptable Clinical Psychologists to support national security through a range of psychological services including assessments, interventions, consultations, and training.

QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Interested candidates should be passionate about the ideals of our American republic, committed to upholding the rule of law and the U.S. Constitution, and committed to improving the efficiency of the Federal government. Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment and diagnosis Expertise with multidisciplinary teams, writing comprehensive reports, effectively communicating results, and briefing stakeholders Flexibility to engage in a range of clinical psychology roles and responsibilities throughout career Willingness and ability to travel and/or live abroad Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining the CIA Healthcare Providers Association to include: Basic Life Support for Providers certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, including hands-on, in-person portions for personnel pursuing hybrid-style testing Recent clinical activity, with at least five years of independently licensed work in patient assessment and/or direct patient care within the last seven years, excluding time spent in clinical education or training programs. Ability to meet the minimum requirements for joining CIA, including U.S. citizenship and a background investigation Desired Qualifications American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) certification Successful completion of a post-doctoral fellowship/residency in the field of clinical psychology Experience working in the Intelligence Community, U.S. Government, University, Medical center/hospital, and/or other multidisciplinary setting Experience conducting independent research and/or program evaluation Experience traveling or living overseas Foreign language skills

Major DutiesCIA Clinical Psychologists are provided with unique opportunities to support national security both domestically and overseas. Psychological services include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing evidence-based interventions, offering expert consultations, and training CIA's highly motivated officers. Critical to mission, CIA is seeking highly skilled and versatile psychologists who excel in fast paced, dynamic environments. Practitioners are expected to be flexible and willing to work in a variety of settings, from clinical to operational.
