About this role
POSITION SUMMARY: Working as a team to prepare areas for summer camps and the following school year. Responsible for sanitizing and cleaning of assigned areas. This position is 40 hours; Monday through Friday, 8:00am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-5:00pm (amount and timing of hours are flexible if arranged with the Custodial Supervisor). Hiring for summer 2026
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works on crews doing general cleaning, carpet cleaning, stripping and waxing of floors, or white-gloving
• Must take ownership and responsibility for your assigned areas
• Reports to a supervising GA or staff member
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to remain flexible and take initiative
• Ability to work with others
• Ability to communicate well within the crews, to those supervising, and to the Custodial Supervisor
• Attention to detail
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or Academy
• This job involves standing, stooping, squatting, lifting, carrying, and pushing, and repetitive motions
