About this role
B.L. Harbert International is looking for a Mechanical Superintendent with expertise in HVAC systems to work on our projects located in various locations around the world. Candidate must be able to work with crew of various backgrounds and nationalities. Ideal candidates will have extensive knowledge of mechanical methods, practices and procedures. Superintendents will provide direction and guidance to field supervisors and craft employees. Being able to manage work performance and productivity to ensure deadlines are met is a key responsibility in this role. Successful candidates will assist in problem resolution and act as a liaison between senior management, field supervision, craft and TCN employees.
Requirements:
• US Citizen
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the US Government
• Ability to relocate overseas to work on projects for 2-4 years
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to work with people from different trades, backgrounds, cultures, etc.
• Ability to follow and maintain proper building and installation codes
• General understanding of diagrams and blueprints
• Ability to follow established safety rules and regulations and maintaining a safe and clean environment
