Job Description We are hiring a Pre OP PACU Registered Nurse for our Surgical Services Float Pool team. This is a full time day shift position that will float between 4 of our main hospital locations in Lee’s Summit, Overland Park, North Kansas City, and Plaza areas.
Schedules are written 8 – 10 weeks in advance. Part Time Days 24 hours per week 6 am until 6:30 pm.
In this position you will work with various conditions, procedures, and acuity levels. Our Plaza location is a Magnet Level 1 Trauma Academic Medical Center. Responsibilities:
• Functions independently and accountable for utilizing the nursing process. • Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. • Delegates tasks appropriately. • Identifies hospital resources. • Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. • Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
