Summary:
We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to shape the user experience of our fintech platform. This role is a foundational part of the product trio, representing usability and ensuring customer needs drive product decisions. The role involves translating complex business and financial processes into intuitive, simple, and elegant experiences that enhance usability and drive engagement.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a foundational member of the product trio alongside product management and engineering, representing usability and user needsTranslate problems and opportunities identified by Product Management and UX Research into design solutions that address customer needs and business objectivesLead the end-to-end design process from user stories to user flows, and high-fidelity designs using design system componentsApply Jobs to be Done framework to understand customer motivations and desired outcomesCollaborate with Product Management and UX Research to define success metrics, validate design solutions, and iterate based on testing resultsConduct lightweight usability testing and gather user feedback to inform design iterationsDefine information architecture and interaction patterns that solve complex user problemsCollaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectivesProvide feedback to the design system team on component needs and pattern gaps discovered through product workTrack and analyze how designs perform against defined success metrics in partnership with Product Management and UX Research
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in UX design, preferably in SaaS or fintech productsStrong portfolio showcasing user research, user flows, information architecture, and high-fidelity design work across multiple platformsDeep understanding of Jobs to be Done framework and ability to apply it to solution designProven ability to translate customer problems and opportunities into actionable design solutionsExpert proficiency with Figma, including working with design system components and creating high-fidelity designsDeep understanding of usability, interaction design, and user-centered design methodologiesExperience conducting lightweight usability testing and synthesizing user feedbackExperience defining and tracking success metrics in collaboration with product management and research teamsExcellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisionsStrong experience working within established design systems and providing constructive feedback for system improvementsAbility to balance user needs with business objectives and technical constraintsFamiliarity with HTML/CSS, React and Flutter and front-end development conceptsExperience with A/B testing and data-driven design decisionsUnderstanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design practicesStrong facilitation skills for collaborative sessions with cross-functional teams
