OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Operations Manager to lead our Amazon USA private label business. This role blends strategic leadership with direct, day-to-day operational execution. You will oversee supply chain workflows, manage Amazon account health, support purchasing and logistics, and lead a small team responsible for marketplace operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, is exceptionally detail-oriented, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to solve problems while guiding and developing a high-performing team. This position is approximately 50% individual contributor and 50% management, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Supply Chain Management Oversee the Supply Chain Manager and ensure smooth end-to-end operations from China-based production to U.S. 3PL warehouses and final delivery to Amazon FBA. Step in during critical moments to personally troubleshoot logistics, customs clearance, or inbound shipping issues. Maintain real-time visibility into inventory levels and collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager to prevent stockouts or overstock situations. Guide strategic decisions around freight, customs, domestic transport, and replenishment timing. Lead seasonal, monthly, and long-term forecasting activities, ensuring accuracy and alignment with sales velocity and operational constraints. Amazon Marketplace Operations Oversee order management functions and support the Administrative Assistant with customer service and account-related tasks. Manage Amazon account health, resolving policy violations, IP complaints, and compliance issues independently and efficiently. Execute operational tasks directly in Amazon Seller Central when required. Partner with the PPC team to align advertising efforts with inventory availability. Monitor listings, sales performance, competitor activity, and market trends to maintain strong organic ranking and competitiveness. Vendor & Purchasing Management Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and 3PL partners. Maintain high quality standards and ensure on-time, cost-effective deliveries. Oversee purchasing decisions while stepping in to handle escalated supplier negotiations. Evaluate vendor performance and initiate improvements as needed. Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a small operations team (2–3 people), creating clear processes, KPIs, and development paths. Promote a continuous improvement culture centered on operational excellence and efficiency. Lead by example—balancing strategy with hands-on execution and modeling strong problem-solving skills. Support additional projects and business priorities as needed, adapting to evolving demands.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on operations, supply chain, or logistics experience within an Amazon environment.

Strong knowledge of Amazon FBA, 3PL operations, international shipping (China → USA), customs, and freight forwarding.

Proven track record in demand forecasting, seasonal planning, and inventory management.

Experience managing Amazon account health, including policy violations and IP/compliance issues.

Extremely detail-oriented, process-driven, and organized, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with partial overlap to U.S. East Coast hours.

Understanding of how PPC and marketing performance influence inventory strategy.

Excellent communication and analytical skills; fluent in English.

Proficiency with Google Sheets/Excel.
