The Acute Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and monitoring patient responses to treatment to ensure optimal outcomes. The nurse collaborates with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team, provides patient and family education, supports discharge planning, and maintains a safe environment by following infection control and hospital policies. The position is under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager or Clinical Director.
