About this role

Job Description​ The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hedrick Medical Center- is seeking a Housekeeping Associate to be responsible for the cleanliness of our facility. As a member of the Environmental Services Department, you will be instrumental in fighting against hospital infection. This person will also be cross trained to support Nutrition Services. This person will be required to work at Wright Memorial as well as Hedrick Medical Center.

Shift Details:

• 40 Hours per week

• As early as 6AM and late as 10:30 PM

• some weekends required

The Work: The associate is accountable for cleaning and disinfecting patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and offices. They will be removing trash, wiping surfaces, and any other tasks related to cleaning. Each housekeeper is responsible for their own trash/linen/bio removal and must be able to lift 50lbs.

We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexible, able to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and a team player.
