As a Manager - Deals Advisory - M&A Ops (AI Enterprise Architecture), you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. You will help clients navigate complex transactions and maximize value in their business deals. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for confirming project success and maintaining standards. Enhancing your leadership style, you motivate, develop, and inspire others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to deliver on client expectations. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximizing the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration within our Deals practice.
Responsibilities
- Lead AI-focused technology due diligence engagements, including AI architecture assessments, AI risk/value hypothesis development, management workshops, and delivery of actionable findings for deal stakeholders. - Design and assess AI-enabled enterprise architectures, evaluating AI readiness across applications, data, cloud, infrastructure, governance frameworks, and core business platforms (ERP, CRM, Supply Chain, etc.). - Advise clients on AI operating models, AI economics, vendor strategy, M&A integration/separation planning, and AI transformation roadmaps while mentoring junior team members. - Leading strategic planning and execution of mergers and acquisitions operations - Conducting financial analysis and developing strategies for post-merger integration - Managing client service accounts and driving client engagement workstreams - Analyzing and identifying linkages and interactions within complex systems - Taking ownership of projects, including planning, budgeting, execution, and completion - Collaborating with team leadership to maintain quality, timelines, and deliverables - Mentoring and developing team members to enhance their skills and performance - Utilizing analytical thinking and scenario analysis to support deal strategy - Engaging in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders to address conflicts - Upholding professional and technical standards, including adherence to the firm's code of conduct - Building and maintaining relationships to support corporate development and value creation - Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to inform strategic decision-making
What You Must Have
- Enterprise/Solution Architecture background with 2–3 years of hands-on AI architecture experience and proven delivery of AI/GenAI solutions in real-world environments. - Strong consulting, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate technical AI architecture decisions into measurable business outcomes, risks, costs, and value creation opportunities. - Experience in AI governance, data architecture, MLOps/LLMOps, AI platform design, and technology due diligence, combined with strong commercial acumen and executive communication skills. - At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 6 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required
