The Role
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in organizing the company's financial operations efficiently. Your contribution will involve preparing research-based analysis to support business and investment decision-making, forecasting future trends, developing budgets, and ensuring that all financial records, taxes, and reports are completed accurately and on time in accordance with the relevant laws of Mongolia.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and report the organization's financial statements and balance sheets in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate accounting records in compliance with relevant laws and standards.
• Collect financial data and prepare monthly reports; analyze and monitor variances; and consolidate data and information trends.
• Review all types of calculations based on relevant reports, perform accounts payable and receivable reconciliations, and monitor processes to prevent bad debt.
• Conduct semi-annual and annual inventories of fixed and current assets, and submit reports for management review.
• Manage the accounting and records for office supplies and materials.
• Audit source documents and document all financial transactions.
• Develop budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Core Requirements:
• General understanding of current tax environments, tax law packages, regulations, and their impacts.
• Ability to maintain financial records for assigned companies in accordance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Capability to generate necessary financial data, reports, and calculations.
• Ability to independently prepare and report semi-annual and year-end financial and tax statements.
• Strong attention to detail in verifying the completeness and validity of primary source documents.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• A strong desire for continuous learning and professional growth.
• Excellent organizational and teamwork skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or Finance.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Experience in group financial consolidation.
• Candidates pursuing international professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, etc.).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Tax Consultant (CTC) in Mongolia.
