About this role
We are currently searching for an experienced Crane Operator to be based out of Harvey, IL. The job will be 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm), M-F, occasional Saturdays. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for transporting coils using cranes inside the building from trailers/rail/transfer cars to storage and from storage to transfer cars, recording coil/storage location data, moving coils from transfer car to slitter storage/slitter mandrel and from slitters to slit coil storage. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.
