About this role
The Product Engineer will take product engineering ownership of a furniture product throughout the entire lifecycle of the item from “GO” status to discontinuation. The Product Engineer takes the design concept and completes engineering drawings, mock-ups of the product, the initiation of Engineering Introduction Order (EIO), Bill of Material (BOM) structures, Customer Service data, Product knowledge information, first production and all cost reduction methods throughout product lifecycle. This position is responsible for the creation and maintenance of all engineering data, and is accountable for meeting margin, quality and efficiency goals of product through introduction of said product. They will assist in maintaining or improving those goals throughout the product lifecycle.
