Position Requirements Description Anesthesiologist opening with a possible Leadership Opportunity to join our dedicated, patient-focused care team at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock, VA. Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital is a voluntary nonprofit short-term acute care hospital with 52 Medicare-certified beds. Part of the Riverside Health system, this facility provides a full array of services and care to all patients while honoring its deep community roots. Case Assignments & Schedule • Schedule: 1 week on, 1 week off schedule; 26 weeks off per year! • Ophthalmology, G.I., orthopedics, urology, podiatry, general surgery, OB and occasional healthy peds.
Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements • MD or DO from an accredited institution • Completion of Anesthesiology Residency • Board Eligible or Board Certified • Current medical licensure • ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
