About this role
The Product Development Designer supports the design and development of inside plant (ISP) fiber optic connectivity, cable management systems, splicing devices, and related manufacturing fixtures and automation equipment. This role focuses on detailed CAD modeling, tolerance analysis, design documentation, and prototype coordination to ensure proper fit, performance, and manufacturability of new products. Working closely with cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, quality, and product teams, the designer applies DFx principles and contributes to DFMEA/PFMEA efforts while providing technical design support and fiber optic expertise throughout the product development lifecycle.
