POSITION SUMMARY The Student Project Support role provides project and operational support to The Business School, RMIT Vietnam in developing digital excellence in learning and teaching. This includes Canvas course material development, ed-tech initiatives, digital learning resources, accessibility improvements, and student-user feedback on the digital learning environment.
The position works collaboratively with the TBS Quality Compliance and Enhancement team and student peers to ensure digital course materials and learning technologies are developed and supported in a timely, accessible and student-centred manner. Key Accountabilities Summary
• Support the TBS Quality Compliance and Enhancement team in developing and maintaining digital learning materials in Canvas and other approved learning platforms.
• Assist with ed-tech initiatives, including digital resource development, accessibility improvement and student-centred online learning enhancement.
• Provide student perspective on the online learning environment by identifying usability issues and suggesting practical improvements to enhance the student learning experience.
• Communicate professionally with staff and students, present accurate information, and escalate issues or uncertainties to the supervisor in a timely manner.
• Attend required training, complete assigned shifts and tasks responsibly, and maintain professional work behaviour, confidentiality and attention to detail
• Other duties commensurate with the scope of the role
Key Selection Criteria
• Familiarity with Learning Management System (Canvas) as a student. • Intermediate skills in multimedia design or digital content creation tools. • Experience working with academic or professional staff through study, projects, clubs or competitions. • Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders. • Ability to meet deadlines, work accurately and learn new systems quickly. • Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position, RMIT Values and RMIT Leadership Model.
Requirements Mandatory
• Have a current RMIT program enrolment.
• Have no history of student misconduct (e.g: plagiarism or breach of ITS Terms of Use).
• Be a Vietnamese national (this is due to Labor Department constraints which are beyond our control).
Preferred
• Previously participated in extracurricular activities
