Job Description JOB SUMMARY: To accompany weekly Kairos services and special Chaplaincy services as needed.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Rehearse music on own schedule in preparation for weekly services (usually 1-2 hours). • Rehearse music for weekly Kairos service with other musicians from 7-8 p.m. on Tuesdays. • Play piano or guitar for Kairos services from 8-9 p.m. on Tuesdays as needed. • Play piano or guitar for special Christian holiday services as needed. • Play piano or guitar for praise and worship music nights as needed.
Qualifications include:
• Previous engagement with Chaplaincy programming and events preferred • Exceptional piano and/or guitar skills • Ability to read music with ease • Experience with music performance • Familiarity with worship services preferred but not required • Attention to detail and high level of organization • Possess effective communication skills Note to Applicant: This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance.
