About this role
Responsibilities:
• Provide hands-on electrical support in the areas of process controls, resolving common power system electrical issues, and equipment downtime root cause analysis
• Complete regular preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment according to established schedules and procedures
• Use tools, meters, and technology to troubleshoot facility-specific PLC’s, motors, VFDs, and process/support equipment, in accordance with established procedures, guidelines, and regulations
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment by running/connecting wires, construction panels/control boxes, and performing other tasks in accordance with the NEC, North Dakota Electrical Codes, and NFPA 70E
• Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
• 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience OR Associate’s Degree or higher in electrical, electro-mechanical, mechatronics, instrumentation or controls in lieu of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (Allen Bradley, Siemens)
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation
• Experience working with 480V systems
