Job Description Role: Learning Platform & Qualifications Lead Location: Remote (UK-Based) with occasional travel to London & Cotswolds Contract: Full Time, Permanent
We’re looking for a Learning Platform & Qualifications Lead to take ownership of our Moodle-based virtual learning environment and play a critical role in delivering high-quality professional qualifications.
This is a hands-on, specialist role where you’ll manage the platform, coordinate assessment processes, and ensure everything runs smoothly for both learners and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing
• Managing and maintaining our virtual learning platform (Moodle) • Setting up learner cohorts and updating course content • Coordinating assignment allocation, marking and verification • Monitoring learner progress and reporting on key metrics • Improving processes and introducing efficiencies (including AI tools) • Working closely with Programme Managers, SMEs and developers
What we’re looking for Essential
• Strong experience with Moodle or similar VLE (backend/admin) • Experience in an education or training environment • Confidence managing assignment workflows and learner data • Strong Excel and reporting skills Desirable
• Experience with CIPD or CMI programmes • Knowledge of Moodle plugins • Experience with Microsoft tools (Planner, Power Automate) • Interest in AI in learning
