We’re looking for an Associate Director, Planning who’s ready to lead, inspire, and make a lasting impact.
Our Queensland planning team is entering an existing growth phase, as we expand into new sectors and services. This role provides the opportunity for a mid-career planner looking to take the next step in their career. You will form part of our Queensland leadership team, leaning into a combination of business strategy and project delivery. We will provide a platform to build your personal profile in the industry, whilst providing the opportunity to work on some fantastic projects that will shape the city in which we work. What you'll do:
Lead and deliver diverse urban and land development projects across sectors.Drive client engagement and contribute to business growth.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.Mentor junior staff and foster a high-performance culture.Navigate planning frameworks and deliver strategic, future-focused outcomes. A degree in Planning or a related field.5–8 years of experience in statutory urban planning (consulting or government).Excellent communication, project management, and writing skills.A passion for shaping better places and delivering real-world impact.Experience in residential, commercial, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects (a plus).
