As a Manager - Assurance at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will lead teams in delivering exceptional audit and financial statement services to our clients. Within our Assurance practice, you will play a pivotal role in managing client service accounts and driving engagement workstreams. As a Manager, you will leverage your leadership skills to mentor junior staff, strategically plan projects, and maintain accountability for successful project execution. You will be responsible for motivating and inspiring your team to deliver quality results, while also identifying opportunities to enhance client relationships and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Leading teams in conducting external audits and financial statement analysis - Managing client relationships and providing strategic guidance on financial reporting standards - Utilizing auditing methodologies to review and verify financial documents for compliance - Overseeing data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends and risks - Implementing internal controls and monitoring financial transactions for accuracy - Developing data visualization solutions to enhance financial reporting insights - Coaching team members on auditing practices and professional development - Facilitating data transformation and modeling to support financial disclosure reports - Applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Auditing Standards (GAAS) in audit processes - Confirming data security and quality within financial audit frameworks

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Chartered Accountant or equivalent (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia) - At least 4 years of experience - At least one of the following: US Licensed CPA, Malaysian Licensed CPA or CPA/CA Equivalent in another Territory (such as ICAEW / ACCA / MICPA-CAANZ / CPA Australia, etc) - Oral and written proficiency in English required
