Farm Products Grading Inspector 1 (NY HELPS)- Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Orleans at New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets. Location: Erie County or Genesee County or Wyoming County or Orleans County. Role: performing inspections, conducting audits, writing certificates Requirements: Minimum two years inspecting farm products for a state/federal agency (or substitute college credits); ability to sample and grade produce, conduct USDA GAP and Country of Origin audits, perform branding law inspections, monitor storage, and complete written certificates; valid NY driver’s license and access to a vehicle required.
