About this role

Job Description & Summary

Do you want to be part of strategic transformations where M&A and IT come together? Are you ready to combine your technology expertise with a consulting role and advise leading corporates and private equity firms on the technology side of complex deals?

As a Senior Associate Technology Deals you'll join our Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team and focus on the IT aspects of M&A transactions, both pre- and post-deal. You'll work in a vibrant, ambitious, and international team within one of the most successful and fast-growing Deals practices in the Netherlands. A role with direct C-level exposure, strong development opportunities, and the chance to shape value creation through technology.

This is what you'll do

You'll be part of an inclusive team within the PwC Deals practice and work on challenging and meaningful client engagements where your expertise truly matters. You'll leverage the latest technology, including AI tools, and we actively encourage knowledge sharing through targeted coaching so you keep developing.

The M&A Technology team is part of Delivering Deal Value (DDV), supporting corporate and private equity clients in identifying, quantifying, and delivering full deal value. You'll work closely with colleagues focused on advanced due diligence services (digital, cybersecurity, platform), carve-outs and divestments, M&A integration, synergy development and review, IT and digital strategy, and operational restructuring. You'll support clients on both buy-side and sell-side projects, helping them quickly form an opinion on innovation capabilities and the effectiveness of technology. You'll be guided and supported throughout, making a direct impact by advising C-level stakeholders (CEO, CFO, CIO, M&A). Your key responsibilities include:

• Identifying technology and innovation capabilities to support growing business needs (digital, platform, automation, AI and robotics, cloud adoption, etc.);

• Providing insight into the quality and effectiveness of IT through IT Due Diligence, including key opportunities and investment risks;

• Working in Technology M&A project teams on IT Due Diligence, Carve Out, Integration, and IT synergy or cost-saving assessments;

• Creating value and growth opportunities driven by IT and digitally enabled performance improvements;

• Communicating and advising C-level clients directly, with hands-on support from senior colleagues.

You recognize yourself in this

You combine a strong commercial mindset with excellent social and communication skills. You can help shape advice of board-level quality and bring sharp reporting skills, ideally from client-facing roles. In addition, you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in IT, either at an IT consulting firm, a Big 4 firm, or in a relevant corporate IT strategy/transformation role (e.g. CIO department);

• A University degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline, with clear affinity for emerging digital technologies;

• Deal and M&A IT experience (due diligence, carve-out, integration, or IT-enabled performance improvements) is a plus;

• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken); fluency in Dutch is a plus.

What we offer With us, you’ll have the chance to be yourself, perform at your best in a high-performance organization, and grow within our global network. We offer you, among other things:

• A competitive salary based on your experience, an annual bonus (depending on results and personal development), and the opportunity to grow;
