As a Total Cost of Ownership TCO/ TBM Associate - Senior Associate - Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enabling informed decision-making and driving business growth. Within our Consulting practice, you will focus on designing and building data infrastructure and systems to enable efficient data processing and analysis. You will be responsible for developing and implementing data pipelines, data integration, and data transformation solutions.

As a Senior Associate, you will build meaningful client connections and learn how to manage and inspire others. You will navigate increasingly complex situations, growing your personal brand and deepening your technical skills. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality work. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Mexico, you will leverage advanced technologies and techniques to design and develop robust data solutions for clients. Your work will be integral to the success of our Cloud Engineering, Data & Analytics network, and you will contribute to the Cloud & Infra Strategy & Design initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Designing and developing data infrastructure and systems to facilitate efficient data processing and analysis - Implementing data pipelines, integration, and transformation solutions to support client needs - Leveraging advanced technologies and techniques to convert raw data into actionable insights - Utilizing platforms such as Apache Airflow and Azure Data Factory for data orchestration and workflow management - Managing data architecture development and database optimization to enhance performance - Applying analytical thinking to solve complex data challenges and drive business growth - Collaborating with clients to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored solutions - Confirming data quality and security through validation and adherence to best practices - Building and maintaining data warehouses and lakes to support scalable data storage and retrieval - Mentoring junior team members and guiding them in technical and professional development

What You Must Have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. • 5 years of experience. • English advanced

• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivots, lookups, conditional logic, data validation, and structured workbook design. • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work with imperfect, incomplete, or ambiguous data and develop practical analytical approaches. • Experience analyzing financial, operational, or technology-related data. • Familiarity with data cleansing, reconciliation, mapping, and transformation activities. • Ability to identify patterns, inconsistencies, and insights in large data sets. • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, well-documented work. • Interest in technology cost management, IT finance, TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), TBM (Technology Business Management), FinOps, or cost optimization. • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools. • Other TCO Applications: Apptio, Magic Orange, Nicus • Understanding of basic finance, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, or cost management concepts. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Comfort working in a client service environment with changing priorities. • Curiosity, ownership, and a willingness to learn new tools, methods, and business concepts.

• Total Cost of Ownership analysis. • Technology Business Management concepts and taxonomy. • IT Financial Management and cost transparency. • Application, infrastructure, cloud, vendor, and labor cost analysis. • Cloud cost management or FinOps concepts. • Data visualization and executive reporting.
