Pay Range: The base pay range for this position is $34.75-$52.49 Hourlyhowever, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Work Schedule for this Position: nights; every other weekend and rotating holidays

Position Overview: Respiratory Therapist treats a range of patients from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed to elderly people with pulmonary disease. Respiratory Therapist works under the supervision of physicians and delivers a range of respiratory care modalities on scheduled and emergency basis
A Day in the Life:
• Operates mechanical ventilators. • Operates non-invasive mechanical ventilators. • Operates high-flow oxygen delivery systems. • Draws umbilical cord gases. • Draws arterial blood gases. • Determines appropriateness and participates in developing and recommending modifications to respiratory care plans. • Gathers information and interprets data regarding patient history, lab results, radiological reports, and other pertinent results regarding patient care. • Demonstrates willingness to learn new techniques and new equipment. • Actively initiates and participates in communication to assure effective delivery of respiratory care. • Communicates with patients and family in a respectful manner.
About You!
This Job is For You if You Have:
• Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Care Program. • Credentialed through the NBRC as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. • Licensed in the State of Washington as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. • Excellent communication skills with physicians, colleagues, and patients. • Ability to learn and utilize new technologies • Ability to manage time, tasks, and resources appropriately.
A Wow if You Have:
• Two or more years’ experience. • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required within 6 months of hire.
