Job Summary To enforce State Laws and City ordinances on PHR Campus. Provide a law enforcement presence in the ED and other assigned areas of the PHR Campus.
Job Description
Essential Functions

• Assists Security Services with enforcement of PH rules or regulations if requested.
• Assists PH Security Services Officer if assistance is requested.
• Completes official police incident and accident reports as they occur on PHR campus.
• Provides a direct liaison with CPD and PH.
• Provide a CPD vehicle on the PH campus as a deterrent
• Patrols key areas (i.e. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and other areas assigned by PH Security Services).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
• Education - High School diploma or equivalent OR post-high school diploma/highest degree earned
• Experience - No experience required.

• Current Certification in Basic Law Enforcement through the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy, currently employed by the City of Columbia Police Department.
