Job Summary Opens/closes playrooms, cleans playrooms & toys, and provides playroom activities to infants, children and adolescents.
Essential Functions
• All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.
• Opens playrooms ensuring they are ready for use and close at end of day.
• Cleans playrooms and toys according to infection control policy.
• Stocks, maintains and organizes playrooms.
• Provides daily playroom activities based on Child Life Specialists’ recommendations.
• Accompanies community groups while in playrooms.
• Assists with community donations, events and holidays under the direction of a Child Life Specialist.
• Circulates toy cart.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
• This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
• Education - High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred
• Experience - Childcare work experience
