About this role
The Public Policy and Global Affairs Programme, School of Social Sciences, invites applications for part-time lecturers (PTLs). We are looking for PTLs who can contribute to teaching (conducting tutorials and assessment) the core courses in the Programme, specifically: • Fundamentals of Politics • Politics of Singapore • Introduction to International Relations and Foreign Policy • Introduction to Political Theory • Introduction to Public Administration and Policy
Key Responsibilities: • Attend lectures (to be discussed and agreed with course coordinator). • Conduct tutorials and assessments for the assigned course. • Grade course assignments (including tests, quizzes, exam scripts). • Invigilate the final examination. • Work closely with the course coordinator to handle students’ queries on course related matter.
Qualification and requirement: • A least a Master Degree in social sciences, specialisation in a political science subfield will be an advantage. • Some prior tutoring/lecturing experience will be an advantage. • Able to tutor/lecture during office hours.
