Position Requirements Description CRNA opportunity in Austin, TX. Austin Anesthesiology Group (AAG) offers a flexible schedule in various surgical settings. NAPA AAG provides anesthesia services for much of the St. David’s Health Care system in the Austin area including St. David’s North Austin Medical Center, South Austin Hospital, and Round Rock Medical Center and accompanying outpatient surgery centers. St. David’s Medical Center is home to the world-renowned Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and St. David’s Neuroscience & Spine Institute and is recognized for providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care. Our diverse group of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and CAAs, are exposed to a wide variety of complex cases; in addition to utilizing our care team model that focuses on everyone having a voice, while supporting, respecting, and helping to deliver care excellence.

Case Assignments & Schedule • Schedule: Available shifts: 8, 10, 12, 16, 24. Permanent evening and weekend shifts are also available. • Night Float Shift: 7 nights on/7 nights off • Day Shift: 7 days on/7 days off; Weekend Only Shift options & premium pay for weekend call and overtime. • Practice covers the full range of specialties including general inpatient and outpatient cases, trauma, OB, neuro, EP and more. CRNAs do their own spinals; as well as epidurals and arterial lines on a case-by-case basis.
Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements • Current license as a registered professional nurse • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
