A collaborative team at nationally recognized Riverside Regional Medical Center with challenging and rewarding cases. Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, provides the newest medical technology in a healing environment. It is the most comprehensive facility of its kind on the Virginia Peninsula. This short-term acute care hospital with 300 beds is a voluntary nonprofit and a member of Riverside Health System. The hospital features a neonatal intensive care unit with 21 beds and neonatologists located on-site.

Case Assignments & Schedule • General, endo, vascular, neuro, radiology, vascular, thoracic, urology, cardiac, bariatric, orthopedic, plastics ENT, OB, and GYN. • Shifts Various schedules are available. • Minimal call/weekend requirements as these shifts are covered by our dedicated 24hr CRNA team!
Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent • Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients • Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia • Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed • Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements • Current license as a registered professional nurse • Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
