The Houseperson supports room attendants by distributing linens and supplies, removing used linens, and maintaining guest-floor hallways to help the housekeeping team prepare rooms efficiently.
Responsibilities:
• Assist room attendants with stripping beds and removing used linens and towels. • Transport used towels and linens to the designated laundry area. • Deliver fresh towels, linens, and additional supplies to room attendants as needed. • Communicate with room attendants to support efficient, timely guest-room cleaning. • Vacuum guest-floor hallways and maintain assigned areas to property standards. • Complete assigned work with an emphasis on meeting or exceeding guest expectations. • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• At least 18 years of age. • Minimum of one year of hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience. • Experience operating cleaning equipment and safely handling cleaning chemicals. • Ability to complete assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, and follow-through with minimal supervision. • Physical requirements: Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods, up to eight hours per day, with or without reasonable accommodation.
