Our client specializes in electronics and software engineering, focusing on high-load switching, communication platforms, Linux, and IoT devices. Established in 2009 with offices in Israel and Kyiv. We are looking for a highly skilled and autonomous Senior Board Design Hardware Engineer to join the R&D team and lead the development of complex, high-speed digital boards from concept to mass production. Key Responsibilities : - Lead the full lifecycle of complex multi-layer PCB design (from initial technical specifications to mass production release) with minimum board design cycles. - Develop schematics design for CPUs, high-performance Marvell packet processors, and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures. - Design and integrate high-speed digital interfaces: SerDes, PCI-e, Ethernet, DDR2/3/4, and MII/GMII. - Manage service and management interfaces including I2C, SMI, and SPI. - Design and calculate robust power circuitry, including high-efficiency DC/DC converters and Power Integrity (PI) management. - Provide layout support and strict guidelines for PCB Layout Designers, ensuring top-tier Signal Integrity (SI). - Conduct laboratory bring-up, hardware debugging, validation, and testing using professional equipment (Oscilloscopes, Signal Generators, Power Analyzers). Requirements : - Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Radio Engineering, or a related technical field. - Experience: 6+ years of proven commercial experience in high-speed digital board design (networking/telecom hardware is a strong advantage). - Deep understanding of high-speed digital logic, Signal Integrity (SI), Power Integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMI/RFI). - Hands-on proficiency with OrCAD Capture (or equivalent high-end EDA software). - Solid experience with lab test equipment (Scope, Signal Generator). - Languages: English. Will be a plus : - Experience with CPLD/FPGA for power sequencing and basic logic design. - Hands-on experience with SI simulation software.
