Location: Palm Beach County, FL Job Title: Structural Field Manager Salary: Competitive compensation package based on experience. Overview: The Structural Field Manager is responsible for ensuring projects proceed safe, accurate, and smooth. This position serves as a liaison with our subcontractors in the field. This position reports to, collaborates with, and follows the direction of the Project Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Monitor subcontractor work in the field, including project progress and safety compliance; communicate findings to project leadership Track execution and maintain proper documentation Support planning, scheduling, and execution of project activities, including maintaining schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project. Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and safety requirements Plan work schedules and coordinate delivery of materials and equipment to the job site Complete and track equipment usage reports; assign accurate cost codes Ensure proper documentation of equipment returns and receipts Obtain, review, submit, and track project submittals to clients/owners Assist in preparation of monthly pay applications for Project Manager approval Solicit vendor quotes, assist with procurement, and prepare purchase orders for approval Track and report material quantities (used, on-hand, and forecasted) Prepare, submit, and track Requests for Information (RFIs) Track invoices and maintain organized records for field purchase orders Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily correspondence, reports, and records of communications Attend and participate in meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: 4–6+ years of experience in construction project coordination or assistant project management, preferably in heavy civil, water resources, or infrastructure projects Experience with large-scale civil projects such as dams, reservoirs, levees, or water/wastewater treatment facilities strongly preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines Physical Requirements: Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent safely and successfully with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the telephone.
