In this role, you will be responsible for creating designs, modifying designs, generating layouts, providing technical support, and assisting with production planning. You will also play a key part in supporting sales efforts by offering technical expertise and assisting with customer presentations. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated machine design, proficiency with SolidWorks or a similar 3D modeling software, and a strong understanding of machine tools. Mechanical Design Engineer Responsibilities • Design and develop products from concept to production • Modify and improve designs based on analysis and production requirements • Maintain detailed design documentation, including models, drawings, and specifications • Provide support to the production team and troubleshoot design-related manufacturing issues • Support sales efforts by providing technical expertise and assisting with customer presentations • Assist with production planning, scheduling, and workflow coordination Mechanical Design Engineer Qualifications • 5+ years of automated machine design experience required • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required • Proficiency in SolidWorks or other 3D modeling software required • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects/ deadlines required • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
