About the Role We are looking for a highly driven and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager with strong experience in accounting, payments, GST, TDS, provisions, and finance automation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capabilities, process improvement mindset, and hands-on experience in managing finance operations in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Financial Reporting Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate bookkeeping. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Pass accounting entries, accruals, and provisions in compliance with accounting standards. Perform GL scrutiny, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closure activities. Payments & Treasury Handle vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and banking operations. Ensure timely and accurate payment processing with proper approvals. Monitor cash flow and maintain payment schedules. Coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders for treasury-related activities. GST & TDS Compliance Manage end-to-end GST compliance including: o GST reconciliation o Return filing support o ITC validation o Vendor GST compliance tracking Handle TDS calculations, deductions, reconciliations, and return filing support. Ensure compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations. Provisioning & Controls Prepare monthly provisions for expenses and liabilities. Ensure adequate financial controls and compliance processes are in place. Support internal and statutory audit requirements. Assist in implementing SOPs and process governance. Automation & Process Improvement Drive finance automation initiatives and process optimization. Improve reporting efficiency using: o Excel automation o Google Sheets o ERP systems o Power BI / dashboards (preferred) Work on reducing manual dependency and improving turnaround time. Required Skills Strong knowledge of: o Accounting principles o GST o TDS o Financial reporting o Provisions & reconciliations Good understanding of finance operations and internal controls. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot, Lookup, MIS reporting, automation). Experience with ERP systems such as: o SAP B1 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications CA Inter / MBA Finance / B.Com / M.Com Experience in startup or high-growth environments is preferred. Exposure to automation and process transformation projects will be an added advantage.
