Role summary: Lead transportation procurement operations, managing carrier contracts and processes to ensure efficient delivery while optimizing costs. Key job responsibilities - Evaluate contracts and conduct performance audits; - Perform cost analysis and establish improvement benchmarks; - Implement risk management procedures; - Drive supplier relationships and negotiations; - Ensure compliance with company spending policies; - Lead procurement metrics and improvement initiatives; - Track KPIs and develop action plans for savings goals; - Manage category suppliers to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities. - Identify, achieve and report on savings and value targets for category sourcing activities. - Align with internal customers and understand the business application of the category. - Analyze data and find patterns to optimize Amazon Costs;
