About this role

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year. Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Direct agricultural crops deleafing activities. Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Greenhouse cleaning. Implement soil fertility programs. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Hire and train staff. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Schedule personnel, tools and equipment. Schedule work assignments. Manage staff and assign duties. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Maintain equipment and supplies. Experience: 1 to less than 7 months. Support for youths: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
