Education: College/CEGEP. Art/art studies, general. Tasks: Direct and control daily operations . Plan and organize daily operations. Manage staff and assign duties. Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers. Train staff. Recommend the acquisition of museum and gallery artifacts. Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies. Maintain adequate stock levels. Establish work schedules. Record the quantity, type and value of stock on hand using computerized or manual inventory system. Identify potential markets. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years.
