Education: Bachelor's degree. or equivalent experience. Tasks: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives. Supervise staff. Analyze clients' financial records. Arrange training for staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Develop financial plans for clients. Prepare reports and audit findings. Prepare financial statements and reports. Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices. Conduct field audits of businesses to ensure compliance with provisions of the Income Tax Act, the Canadian Business Corporations Act or other statutory requirements. Prepare income tax returns from accounting records. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Provide financial, business and tax advice. Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits. Manage finances or budget. Examine and analyze financial and investment information (profiles of companies, stock or bond prices, yields and future trends). Compile research results.
