Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Odours. Noisy. Outdoors. All weather conditions. Work setting: Landscape contractor. Tasks: Prepare proposals. Estimate costs. Write specifications. Survey and assess designated sites. Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products. Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions. Assess the health of lawns. Employment terms options: Shift. Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years. Support for youths: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment. Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth. Offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for youth. Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
