Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Noisy. Tasks: Make minor adjustments and repairs to wood products. Record information on products inspected. Assemble door panels, trusses or modular components to make prefabricated housing. Read blueprints, written specifications and production drawings. Pack items for shipping and distribution. Inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards. Mark defective parts or products for repair. Trim, smooth, and shape surfaces. Equipment and machinery experience: Power tools. Small hand tool. Pneumatic devices. Precision measuring instrument. Area of work experience: Assembly line. Truss manufacturing and building.
